About
Roots dating back to the 1940s
The history of Ambrose Bros. traces back to the late 1940s, when D.E. Ambrose returned to New Hampshire after serving in the Seabees during World War II. Together with his two sons, David Ambrose and Paul “Bud” Ambrose, both WWII veterans in their own right, D.E. used the knowledge and experience he gained building airstrips, bridges and roads during the war to form D.E. Ambrose & Sons, a small excavation and road construction company.
Aggregates For Every Need
Ambrose Bros. owns and operates three gravel pits, where it mines, crushes and screens various aggregates and materials for use in its construction projects and for sale to other contractors and landscapers, as well as to the general public.
Materials are available for delivery by Ambrose Bros. or to be picked up at the pits.
